THE INDIAN ACTOR WHO MADE HISTORY AT CANNES

Anasuya Sengupta has made the nation proud by becoming the first Indian (Woman) to win the Best Actress award at the Cannes Film Festival 2024. The star won the award for the portrayal of Renuka in the film The Shameless in Uncertain Regard category of the Festival. It was an incredible life changing journey for her from going to Cannes as an artiste participant and coming back as the Nation’s ‘Darling’.

After qualifying from National School of Drama ( NSD) and the Film and Television Insitute of India ( FTII) he came down to Mayanagari Mumbai. Along with his colleague Om Puri ,he first started acting in Stage Plays famous being “Salesman Ramla Satish Kaushik ,the all in one actor-producer-director-writer breathed his last on ( March 2023 at Gurugram. His last rites were performed at Versova Mumbai,
