Produced by Cinergy Production  and presented by SARGAMA, the film “Jhotha Hi Sahi” is shortly releasing all over India. Music CDs have also been produced and marketed under sa re ga ma label.

The listeners will have a treat of the lilting composition by the Internationally famed music maestro A R Rahman who has composed Nine pulsating numbers. And for a change, he has the lyrical support from the director of the film Abbas Tyrewala. And this album mostly caters to the mod taste of younger generation mixed with pop, easy lyrics, rap and rag to folk tunes . The opening number “Cry Cry” is a  foot tapping peppy pop duet  sung with verve by Rashid Ali and Shreya Ghosal which will surely be the toast of  youngsters. “Maiya Yashoda” is sung twice by the singers Javed Ali and Chinmayi , but both are composed in different mix. First one is the Jamuna Mix while the latter is the Thames Mix. Both are having folk lilt, but the Jamuna Mix is little fast in which the singers lose clarity of words. “ Hello Hello’ is tuned beautifully in apt vibrations of Karthik’s voice. Song ‘DO NISHAANIYAN” again is in two versions sung soulfully by Sonu Nigam. First one is normal but  the latter version is in sad mood as “Heart Breaking Reprise”. Next is  riotous rhythmic beat “ Pam Pa Ra”  sung by Shreya Ghosal in her sonorous voice, with background additions and variations  from Suzanne D’Mello. It becomes fast in progression but sounds to be based on Rahman’s own earlier creation “Chota Sa Dil Hai” from film “Roza”.  Next is “ I have been Waiting” number , once  again a pop but Vijay Yesudas has done justice in belting out the nuances. Last number “Call Me Dil” is similar to the first number “Cry Cry”, although lyrical words are different. Voice is  of Rashid Ali  in solo.

All in all , the album is set to become popular. One only wishes that the maestro Rahman should have different  and more  lilt variations  to avoid dragging.
