1972 block buster   movie “Pakeezah “.

 Oh! What a movie reminding the golden era of Indian culture and folded those difficult days of actress Meena Kumari.  Her courtesan character was sedate and slow, obviously because throughout the film shooting she was very ill and physically wreck. But then that did not diminish her talented moves, expressions, acting and dialogue delivery. “Younhi Koi Mil Gaya thaa”, “Innhi Logo Ne Le Leena Duptta” and “Thade Rahiyo” numbers are unforgettable  because of their “Adayagi” by Meena , Bol ( Lyrics  Kaifi and Majrooh) and Mausiki ( Ghulam MOHAMMAD & Naushad).While filming the song “Chalo Dildar Chalo” Kamaal Amrohi skillfully avoided any close up of  Meena Kumari and gave more footage to Rajkumar as the period was very trying for Meena  due to her sickness (swollen face ).But she was superb in “Mausam Hai Ashiqaan”. And can anyone ever forget the immortal dialogue in the reverberating voice of Rajkumar “ Paavn Zameen Par Mat Rakhna Maile Ho Jayenge”. Don’t forget to watch on You Tube
