Saregama, India’s flagship music company of RP - Sanjeev Goenka Group has come out with its first venture of newly started Wellness Division “Temple Wellness” in the form of a DVD hosted and anchored by the two Female celebrities Raageshwari Loomba and Lorraine More demonstrating by performing skilfully in its technical perfection the “5 Ancient Tibetan Rites” which are akin to our Indian ‘Yogasanas’, believed to be the secret of eternal youth.

These five rites are supposed to be yogic practices predominantly used by Tibetan monks for more than 2500 years. The rites in essence slows down the aging process and fill one with a dynamic youthful energy. As a result one can accomplish a lot more for looking and feeling younger. Both Raageshwari and Lorraine explain the intricacies and benefit of each rite, along with actual performances and technique of how an individual can do them to get maximum benefits. They and commentators Neeta Godambe and Jayant Mulay also explain the ‘Do’s and Don’ts’ for beginners according to their status of health.

It is visually explained that the human body has SEVEN Key CHAKRAS or Vortexes which work like magnetic centres to revolve to keep a healthy body. If the balance in Chakras are not maintained they lead to impaired endocrine system, sluggish metabolism, weight gain, and pr-mature aging. The practice of these five Tibetan Rites align these Chakras to retain health, youth and vitality. And they are not difficult to do with regular practice. Each step is visually taught to be executed by the performer and commentator.

Rite One : This first rite works well on all seven Chakras by coordinating their spin, speed and harmony. It distributes pure pran energy to the endocrine system. This slows aging and increases energy level.

Rite Two: This works mainly on the Manipura or Solar Plexes Chakra located in the abdominal region. It also regulates the function of Pancreas and digestive organs. This results in curative effect of diabetes and fluctuations in blood pressure, besides strengthening the abdominal muscles. Thus this is used for inducing vitality and strength.

Rite Three: This rite energises the Vishuddhi or Throat Chakra that activates the pituitary and thyroid glands. Hormonization of these two major glands regulates the metabolism control and balance in the body for optimizing functions of kidneys and sexual organs. On emotional level, one feels immense happiness and freedom to enable skills to blossom. It also alleviates anxiety and suppressed fears.

Rite Four: The fourth Rite works on the Swadisthana or Sacral Chakra associated with our re-productive organs. Good for activating the lower abdominal and pelvic area, sexual energy and general state of pleasure. It also strengthens the lower back. When stabilized, this Chakra brings clarity and development of a strong personality.

Rite Five: This rite is for toning and strengthening exercise. This rite posture stretches the shoulders, legs, spine an whole body. It works on releasing fatigue, rejuvenating the body and improving the immune system

Depending on the status of body and need, each one can select the type of ‘Rite’ one wants to practice, singly or severally, as a daily routine for about 20 minutes. Start with the most easy one can do. The results will be seen how the practitioner feels after a few days. If suits, one can select more difficult ‘Rites’ to practice.

The two Visual Practitioner Hosts in the DVD were themselves suffering and after mastering the art of practicing these rights they have regained their vitality, youth and energy level defying their age. Says Raageshwari : "At the peak of my career, I was diagnosed with Bells Palsy, a condition wherein my left face was paralyzed and distorted. After consistent practice of these five yogic rites coupled with meditation and a balanced lifestyle, I resurrected myself back in action with full vigour and vitality”. Another performer Lorraine More says "About two decades back, I was feeling fully exhausted mentally and physically. To gain the balanced equilibrium, I embraced the traditional Reiki and Yoga. Since it did not have the desired effects, I started practicing these 5 Tibetan Rites. It worked. Now at age 56, I feel physically and mentally fitter and energized for undertaking even onerous physical or mental tasks.”
